Portraits

Portraits might be my all time favorite thing to photograph. I have always loved the human face. When I was a little girl I would spend hours drawing, and the human form was what I sketched. I would draw people. Faces fascinate me and I think capturing one's essence is intriguing and I strive to get that perfect portrait every time I shoot, whether it be a beautiful human or creature, which I might find equally as fascinating. I'd like to think I can see into one's soul maybe, especially animals, but maybe people as well. Getting that little bit of soul on film is what I strive to do. So far so good.
